What do these errors mean?

These errors usually mean the same thing - the E2 chip has failed and must be replaced.

* If defaulting the indicator does not clear the error, or if a setup change cannot be saved, the E2 has failed.
* Most likely any custom programming program will be lost or has already been lost, so the program will most likely have to be recreated. If the program has been previously saved, then it can be reloaded later. If there is no copy of the complex program then the indicator should probably be upgraded to a 60 Series since the software would have to be recreated anyway.
* The E2 are in sockets U9 and U11. U11 is the primary (required) E2. If the U11 chip memory is large enough, U9 is not needed. Many 550s shipped with (2) 1/2K E2 chips which was enough to run a small program or a small Truck I/O database. These small capacity E2s are no longer available, so in rehabbing a 550 probably only one chip will be used.
