Q: Why does my 60 Series indicator display "Cycle Power" each time I exit the setup mode?
A: "Cycle Power" is a warning message generated any time a comm port buffer size has been changed. It is a request for you to disconnect power momentarily in order for the new buffer size to take effect.
Transmit and receive buffer sizes appear at P207 and P208 respectively and can be changed manually or through a setup file upload.
Although the new buffer size values are saved when exiting the setup mode, memory allocation only takes place at power-up. Thus you will not realize the effect of the new buffer size(s) until after cycling power. If it is not convenient to interrupt power, you may also reinitialize memory by performing a re-boot at P65030.
